I’m excited to announce that my debut children’s novel, which won the Hachette Children’s Novel Award, will be published by Aralyn Press in November 2025!
After exploring both traditional and new forms of publishing with the support of Arts Council England’s Developing Your Creative Practice scheme in 2024, I’ve decided to independently publish my writing. And Aralyn Press is my publisher! As I prepare to share my first book with the world, I wanted to name the Press after someone very special to me.
A publisher needs a logo, and Aralyn Press has a beautiful one designed by my amazing friend, Helen Clamp from The Unicorn Factory. Helen’s surface print and pattern designs (like the star background here, part of her Twinkle Twinkle collection!) are always gorgeous, and I love the hand-lettering she’s created for Aralyn Press. I’m so lucky to have lots of creative friends supporting me, and I’m really grateful for the time and talent Helen’s put into this logo.
With Aralyn Press now established and ISBNs bought, I’m busy preparing my debut novel for publication in November. I've been busy, working on typesetting, marketing, final edits – and my aim is to publish a book I’m proud of. Keep an eye on my website and social media for all my news…
